You may feel a tingling slight burning sensation, but the peel is virtually painless. It’s significantly more comfortable to experience than other peels.

The Perfect Peel requires no pre-peel skin prep. You may use a daily skincare regimen of retinoids upto 3 days before the peel.

You should not have a chemical peel if you:
are pregnant or breastfeeding
are allergic to gluthione, kojic acid, TCA, phenol, salicylid acid, vitamin C, retinoic acid or aspirin
used Accutane in the past 4 months
have open wounds, sunburn, skin infections, cold sores or lesions
recently been waxed, electrolysis, or other chemical exfoliants
are on chemotherapy or radiation
have autoimmune disease or weakend immune system

Yes, but they should be discontinued 3 days before the peel.

You can resume your regular skin care 7 days after the peel application. Retinoids and glycolic acid products should not be resumed for 10 days post peel.

You will be provided a Home Care Kit on the day of your peel and instructions on how to use the products. This home kit will be your skincare for the 7 days after your peel.

The Perfect Peel is self neutralizing, no neutralizing agent is needed. You will leave with the peel still on your skin. It should be left on for 6 hours, but can remain in place upto over night if a stronger result is desired.

Peeling generally begings by Day 3 and will generally continue through Day 6.

You should wear a hat on Day 1 of your peel, as no SPF will be applied immediately post peel. SPF will be included in your Home Care Kit and should be applied every two hours throughout the week of your peel. It is highly recommended that you wear a hat and sunglasses whenever outside, and high levels of sun should be avoided during the peeling process.
